Fuel Injector Wiring Harness: Service and Repair
REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
NOTE: When the battery is disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while the vehicle relearns its adaptive
strategy. The vehicle may need to be driven 16 km (10 mi) or more to relearn the strategy.
2. Remove the upper and lower intake manifold.
3. Disconnect the fuel injector electrical connectors.
4. Disconnect the engine bulkhead electrical connector.
5. Disconnect the Powertrain Control (PCM) connector.
6. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

Disconnect the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) electrical connectors.

Disconnect the transmission harness electrical connectors.
