Removal
1. Remove the brake disc.
2. Remove the spring and the adjuster.
3. CAUTION: The brake shield has an access hole cover that must be removed to allow for the removal of the wheel stud. The cover must be
replaced with a plug to prevent contamination to the parking brake shoe assemblies.
Using a suitable punch, remove the wheel stud access hole cover from the brake shield.
4. CAUTION: Never use a hammer to remove a wheel stud. Damage to the wheel hub can result.
