4. Separate the secondary safety belt guide from the B-pillar.

Release the pin-type retainer.

Rotate the top of the secondary safety belt guide down and out of the B-pillar.
5. Using the special tool, remove the bolt. Remove the front safety belt retractor.
INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
NOTE:

Make sure to tighten all nuts and bolts to specification.

Make sure the safety belt webbing is not twisted prior to installation.
^
Make sure to align and install the safety belt retractor locating ear into the B-pillar sheet metal before installing the bolt.
2. Check the active restraint system for correct operation.
