Explorer 2WD V8-4.6L VIN 8 (2006)
1. Remove the suction accumulator.
2. Remove the powertrain control module (PCM) and PCM bracket.
3. Remove the A/C line bracket nut at the dash panel and remove the A/C line bracket.

To install, tighten to 6 Nm (53 lb-in).
4. Remove the ground strap bolt at the dash panel.
5. Disconnect the evaporator outlet fitting.

Discard the O-ring seals.
Vehicles with 4.0L engine
6. Disconnect he evaporative emissions return line fitting at the intake manifold.
7. Remove the fuel line bracket bolt at the rear of the RH valve cover.
