Inspect the galvanized innerliner below the frame extension for cracks in the area of the bottom bolt hole (see View A on Figure 2). If a crack
extends past the lower frame extension attaching bolt hole, replace the bumper assembly. The frame extension may have to be removed to
determine the length of the crack.

If there are no cracks (or after bumper is replaced):

If the position of the Owner's aftermarket hitch receiver prevents installation of the Rear Bumper Reinforcement Kit (F1TZ-17A958-A), loosen
and reposition the hitch receiver enough to allow installation of the kit (see INSTALLATION below). Reinstall the Owner's hitch receiver after
