ISSUE:
Rocker panel mouldings, which are standard on 1993 Explorers, are now available for retrofitting on 1991/1992 Explorers. Customers may request this
option at their own expense.
ACTION:
Install rocker panel mouldings as required. Refer to the following procedure for installation details. Also refer to the following paint procedure for
painting rocker panel mouldings and the Parts Block of this TSB article for correct parts usage.
PAINT PROCEDURE - EXPLORER ROCKER PANEL MOULDINGS
1.
Wash the mouldings with soap and water to remove any residual dirt and oils from handling.
2.
Wipe down the mouldings with wax and grease remover.
