Using the special tool, remove the wheel stud.
5. Route the wheel stud through the access hole and discard the wheel stud.
Installation
1. CAUTION: Do not use power tools to install the wheel stud. The serrations on the flange can be stripped.
NOTE: Do not use the wheel nut that came with the vehicle.
Install washers and wheel nut on the wheel stud and tighten the wheel nut until the stud seats against the flange.

Discard the wheel nut.
2. Install the adjuster and the spring.

Install the plug into the wheel stud access hole.
