4. Remove the stoplight switch hairpin clip.

5. Slide the stoplight switch, booster push rod and the bushing off the brake pedal pin.

6. Remove the brake pedal-to-accelerator pedal cable from the accelerator pedal by pulling on the cable retainer.

7. Disconnect the brake pedal motor electrical connector.

8. Disconnect the transmission shift cable from the steering column shift lever.
