Connect the accelerator and the speed control cables to the throttle body.

Install the throttle return spring.

Install the throttle body splash shield.

Connect the clean air tube to the throttle body.

Raise and support the vehicle.
66.
Install the lower air deflector.
67.
Drain the engine oil. Tighten the drain plug to 14 Nm (123 lb-in).

Lower the vehicle.

Connect the battery negative cable, then remove the memory saver.

Fill the cooling system.

Fill the engine with 5W-30 engine oil meeting Ford specification WSS-M2C153-G or equivalent.

Disconnect the coil. Prime the lubrication system with fresh oil by cranking the engine for 15 seconds with the coil disconnected or until the oil
light turns oft or the gauge registers pressure.
73.
Reconnect the coil, then start the engine and check for leaks. Allow the engine to warm up to operating temperature, then make sure it is operating
properly.
