Rear Door Exterior Handle: Service and Repair

EXTERIOR REAR DOOR HANDLE - SUPERCREW
REMOVAL
1. Raise the rear door window to the closed position.
2. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
3. Remove the rear door trim panel.
4. Remove the bolts and the rear door brace.
5. Position the watershield aside.
6. Remove the exterior rear door handle.

Remove the nuts.

Release the clip and disconnect the exterior rear door handle actuating rod.

Remove the exterior rear door handle by pushing outward from the bottom.
INSTALLATION
1. NOTE: Make sure the actuating rods are in the relaxed position before engaging the clip.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
