F 150 2WD Pickup V8-5.4L SOHC VIN 5 (2004)
1. Disconnect the LH radio ignition interference capacitor electrical connector.
Items 29: Power Steering Pump Removal Note
1. Remove the nut and the power steering pressure hose support bracket.
2. Position the power steering pump assembly aside.
Items 32-37: Engine Front Cover Bolts, Studs, Engine Front Cover, and Engine Front Cover Gaskets Removal Note
1. Remove the bolts.
2. CAUTION: Do not use metal scrapers, wire brushes, power abrasive discs or other abrasive means to clean the sealing surfaces. These tools
cause scratches and gouges which make leak paths. Use a plastic scraping tool to remove all traces of old sealant.
Remove the engine front cover from the front cover-to-cylinder block dowel.

Remove the engine front cover gaskets.
