REMOVAL
WARNING: All safety belt assemblies including retractors, belt tension sensor (BTS), if equipped, buckles, front seat belt buckle support
assemblies (slide bar), shoulder belt height adjusters (if so equipped), child safety seat tether attachments and attaching hardware should be
inspected after any collision. All new belt assemblies should be installed unless a qualified technician finds the assemblies show no damage and
operate correctly. Belt assemblies not in use during a collision should also be inspected and new assemblies installed if either damage or
improper operation is noted.
NOTE: Seat is shown disassembled for clarity.
1. Remove the front passenger seat.
2. Remove the parts in the order indicated in the illustration and table.
INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
Item 2: Front Seat Frame Rear Support Installation Note
1. On regular cab vehicles only, the front seat frame rear support is equipped with LATCH. Make sure the correct support is installed.
