F 150 2WD Pickup V8-5.4L SOHC VIN 5 (2004)
1. Disconnect the electrical connector.

Disconnect the overdrive cancel button electrical connector.

Cut the tie strap holding the wire harness to the base of the shifter.
2. Remove the brake shift interlock actuator.

Remove the bulb from the housing

Cut the tie strap from the wire harness.
3
Remove the two screws and remove the brake shift interlock actuator.
Item 9: Brake Shift Interlock Actuator Installation Note
1. Install the brake shift interlock actuator.

Install the brake shift interlock actuator and install the two screws.

Install the bulb into the housing
3
Install a new tie strap to the wire harness.
