8. Remove C-pillar trim panel.

9. NOTE: The C-pillar trim panel has locator pins that must be positioned correctly for installation.

NOTE: The C-pillar trim panel should be parallel to the rear window blackout.

To install, reverse removal procedure.

Removal and Installation

Both sides

1. Pull upward to release the scuff plate clips and remove the front door scuff plate.

Detach the scuff plate from the weatherstrip.

LH side

2. Remove the cowl trim panel.

RH side

3. Remove the fuse panel access door.

4. Remove the pin-type retainer from the cowl trim panel.
