Disconnect and detach the backrest heater mat electrical connector.

For 60 percent backrest, remove the heated seat module and bracket.
-

Disconnect the 2 heated seat module electrical connectors.

-

Remove the 2 screws, heated seat module and bracket.

-

To install, tighten to 14 Nm (124 lb-in).

-

Release the pin-type retainers and remove the wire harness.
-

Note the wire harness routing for correct installation.

5. Remove the hog rings and foam pad from the backrest frame.

6. To assemble, reverse the disassembly procedure.

Disassembly and Assembly

1. Remove the seat backrest cover. For additional information, refer to Seat Backrest Cover - Rear, SuperCab  See: Seat Cover/Service and

Repair/Rear Seats/Seat Backrest Cover - Rear, SuperCab.

2. Push the release tabs and remove the 3 backrest plastic lock clips (one shown).

3. To assemble, reverse the disassembly procedure.
