Removal and Installation
1. NOTE: The seat backrest latch is only accessible when the seat cushion is raised.
Release the backrest latch.

From behind the backrest, pull up on the latch release and pull the backrest forward.

Release the cushion latch and lower the cushion and backrest.

To install, slide the striker pin up/down and align to the backrest latch.
2. Remove the bolt and striker.

To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Make sure the backrest is fully latched when completed.
