F 150 4WD V8-4.6L VIN 8 (2010)
Removal
1. Recover the A/C system. For additional information, refer to Heating and Air Conditioning.
2. Drain the cooling system.
3. Remove the cooling fan motor and shroud. For additional information, refer to Cooling Fan Motor and Shroud See: Radiator Cooling
Fan/Radiator Cooling Fan Motor/Service and Repair.
4. Release the clamp and disconnect the upper radiator hose from the radiator.
5. Disconnect the overflow hose at the radiator.
6. Remove the spring clip and disconnect the lower radiator hose from the radiator.
7. Release the clamp and disconnect the power steering cooler hose from the power steering cooler.
8. Disconnect the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor electrical connector.
9. Release the clips and remove the Air Cleaner (ACL) cover.
10. Remove the ACL element.
11. Remove the 2 bolts and the coolant expansion tank/lower ACL half.
