Timing Cover: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. If equipped, turn the air suspension switch off.
2. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
3. Raise the vehicle on a hoist.
4. Remove the engine air cleaner (ACL).
5. Remove the upper radiator hose, the fan shroud and the lower radiator hose.
6. Disconnect camshaft position sensor electrical wiring.
7. Raise and support the vehicle.
8. Remove the oil pan drain plug and drain the engine oil.
9. Remove the crankshaft sensor shield.

Remove the nuts.

Remove the crankshaft sensor shield.
10. Disconnect the knock sensor electrical connector.
