Inspect the fuel lines in the front retaining bracket for proper clearance to the dash panel. Using a long 3/8 inch extension, check for clearance by
extending the 3/8 inch square drive end up between the transmission and the left catalytic converter to see if it will fit between the fuel lines and
the dash panel. On 4WD models, position the extension between the front driveshaft and the left catalytic converter. See Figure 2.

Minimum clearance is 10 mm (approximately 3/8 inch).

Check the supply line (Figure 3) and return line (Figure 4) separately.

DO NOT BEND FUEL LINES. PRYING ON OR BENDING THE FUEL LINES INSTEAD OF THE BRACKET MAY RESULT IN A
DAMAGED FUEL LINE, CAUSING A FUEL LEAK.
