5. Disconnect the clutch hydraulic line from the transmission using (A) Clutch Coupling Tool.
6. Lower the vehicle.
7. Disconnect the hydraulic line from floor flange mount.
8. Remove the clutch master cylinder reservoir and clutch master cylinder.

Rotate the clutch master cylinder 45 degrees clockwise.
9. Clean all clutch master cylinder components.
CAUTION: Clean all rubber clutch master cylinder parts with High Performance DOT 3 Brake Fluid or DOT 3 equivalent meeting Ford
specification ESA-M6C25-A, DOT 3.
10. Inspect the clutch master cylinder for:

Weak spring.
-
Damage to any reservoir components.
-
Damaged cups.
-
Scored piston.
INSTALLATION
1. Lightly clamp clutch master cylinder reservoir in a vise.
