WITH PURGE CONTROL VALVE
The carbon canister stores fuel vapors from the fuel tank and carburetor until the engine is started. Fuel vapors enter the top of the purge side of
the canister, Fig. 53, and travel in a ``U'' shape pattern to the fresh air vent side. Vapor flow to the engine is controlled by the purge control valve.
