REMOVAL
1. Open the tailgate.
2. Remove the tailgate access panel.

Remove the screws.

Remove the tailgate access panel.
3. Disconnect the tailgate latch rod.

Open the clip.

Disconnect the rod.
4. Remove the tailgate latch (RH shown, LH similar).
