Fuel Pressure Regulator: Service and Repair
Standard Models (Non Bi-Fuel)
REMOVAL
1. Carry out the Pressure Relief Fuel Line Venting procedure. See: Fuel Filter/Fuel Pressure Release/Service and Repair/Standard Models (Non
BI-Fuel)/Fuel Line Venting Pressure Relief
2. Disconnect the fuel pressure regulator coolant lines.

Pinch off the coolant lines 3 inches from the fuel pressure regulator.

Disconnect the fuel pressure regulator coolant lines.
NOTE: The fuel pressure regulator and coalescer/filter are removed as an assembly.
3. Disconnect the low pressure fuel line from the fuel pressure regulator and the high pressure fuel line from the coalescer/filter.
4. Loosen the fitting retaining the fuel pressure regulator to the coalescer/filter.
NOTE: Use the hex on the regulator side of the fitting.
