9. Remove the steering gear to frame mounting bolts.
10. Disconnect the steering gear.
1. Position the steering gear.
2. Slide back the spring clamp.
3. Remove the return line, allowing the fluid to drain.
11. Remove the pressure line from the steering gear, and remove the steering gear from the vehicle.
12. Remove the steering gear sector shaft arm.

Secure the steering gear in a vise, then using the special tool, remove the steering gear sector shaft arm.
