Push seal in place and smear the excess sealant as shown in Figure 14, Step 3.

Transmissions built after October 1, 1985 are equipped with a front pump that has a revised drainback hole located away from the seal edge mating
surface (Figure 13). Depot stock has been replaced with pumps having the revised location drainback hole.
