Oil Filter Adapter: Service and Repair
Remote Adapter
Removal
1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Remove the drain plug and drain the engine oil.
3. If equipped with an oil cooler, remove the two nuts and disconnect the remote oil filter adapter from the oil cooler.
4. If the vehicle is not equipped with an oil cooler, disconnect the oil pressure sender electrical connector.
