All vehicles
1. Remove the seat backrest. For additional information, refer to Seat Backrest - Front, Bench See: Removal and Replacement/Front Seats/Seat

Vehicles with armrest
2. Remove the 2 armrest bolts and armrest.

To install, tighten to 12 Nm (106 lb-in).
3. Remove the cup holder rubber insert.
4. Remove the 2 screws and cup holder.
All vehicles
5. Remove the RH and LH latch handle clips and latch handles.
6. Release the J-clip and invert the backrest trim cover up to the row of hog rings.

If equipped, pull the backrest trim cover over the armrest brackets.
Vehicles with armrest
7. Separate the backrest trim cover plastic armrest pocket tabs from around the backrest frame.
8. Pull the backrest trim cover armrest pocket through the backrest frame armrest opening.
All vehicles
9. Remove the backrest trim cover.

Remove the hog rings.

Invert the backrest trim cover and remove it.
10. Remove the backrest foam pad from the backrest frame assembly.
11. NOTE: LH shown, RH similar.
Remove the 2 recliner covers.
