3. Using an appropriate tool, push in the pin hole while pulling the safety belt tongue out of the safety belt buckle.

After installation, when inserting the safety belt tongue into the safety belt buckle, make sure the safety belt buckle and safety belt retractor
webbing are not twisted.

4. Remove the bolt and the appropriate safety belt buckle(s).

To install, tighten to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft).
5. NOTE: When installing a new safety belt buckle assembly, make sure it is installed on the correct side. This is due to the safety belt buckles and
tongues being different sizes from the LH to the RH side.
NOTE: Before installation, make sure the safety belt webbing is not twisted and the safety belts and buckles are accessible to the occupants.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
6. Check the active restraint system for correct operation. For additional information, refer to the appropriate Functional Test procedure in Safety
