Gearshift Lever and Boot
Removal and Installation
1. Remove the 2 screws under the shift lever boot and slide the shift boot back, unseating it from the front tab.
2. Slide the upper shifter boot assembly up the shift lever to access the 2 shifter lever bolts.

NOTE: Apply threadlock to the bolt threads during installation.
Remove the 2 shifter lever bolts and lever.

To install, tighten to 28 Nm (21 lb-ft).
3. Remove the 4 bolts and the lower shift lever.

To install, tighten to 11 Nm (97 lb-in).
4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
