20. Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the passenger air bag module.
All vehicles
21. Install the RCM fuse 32 (10A) to the SJB.
22. Connect the battery ground cable.
Reactivation
All vehicles
1. Remove the RCM fuse 32 (10A) from the SJB.
2. Disconnect the battery ground cable and wait at least one minute.
3. CAUTION: Match the electrical connector key to the keyway in the passenger air bag module. The passenger air bag module electrical
connector is unique and cannot be reversed when connected to the passenger air bag module. Do not force the electrical connector into
the passenger air bag module. Failure to follow these instruction may result in component damage and/or system failure.
Connect the electrical connector to the passenger air bag module.
4. CAUTION: Do not handle the passenger air bag module by grabbing the edges of the deployment door. Failure to follow this instruction
may result in component damage and/or system failure.
NOTE:

During installation, 4 new air bag module bolts must be installed.

Check the positioning of the passenger air bag module J-nuts before positioning the passenger air bag module to the I/P.
Position the passenger air bag module in the I/P and install the new 4 nuts.

Tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).
