Drive Belt Tensioner: Testing and Inspection
Physical Inspection
1. Remove the drive belt.
CAUTION: The drive belt tensioner has no provision for adjustment and will be damaged if forced to travel beyond its operating range.
2. Rotate the drive belt tensioner from the full relaxed position through the full stroke to assure that there is no sticking, binding or grabbing. If any of
these conditions exist, replace the drive belt tensioner.
3. Reinstall the drive belt.
