Crankshaft Main Bearing Seal: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Remove the transmission.
2. Remove the oil pan.
3. Remove the flywheel.
4. Use the (A) Rear Crankshaft Slinger Remover and the (B) Slide Hammer to remove the (C) rear oil seal slinger.
5. Use the (A) Rear Crankshaft Seal Remover and the (B) Slide Hammer to remove the (C) rear main seal.
6. Remove the six crankcase rear oil seal retainer bolts and the crankcase rear oil seal retainer.
INSTALLATION
1. Clean and inspect the mating surface.
