Front Crankshaft Seal: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Remove the engine cooling fan and fan shroud.
2. Remove the drive belt.
3. Remove the crankshaft pulley bolt.
4. Use Crankshaft Damper Remover to remove the crankshaft pulley.
5. Use (A) Front Cover Seal Remover to remove the (B) front cover seal.
INSTALLATION
1. Lubricate the (A) engine front cover and the (B) front oil seal inner lip.

Use SAE 50W engine oil meeting Ford specification WSE-M2C908-A1.
