GENERATOR
Removal and Installation
1. Disconnect the battery.
2. Release the accessory drive belt tension and remove the drive belt from the generator pulley.
3. CAUTION: When installing the generator, make sure to hand-start the generator battery positive cable nut to prevent cross-threading.
Disconnect the generator wire harness.

Disconnect the harness retainer from the generator bracket.

Remove the nut and disconnect the battery positive cable.

Disconnect the 2 electrical connectors and position the wire harness aside.
4. Remove the bolts and the generator bracket.
5. Loosen but do not remove the lower bolts and remove the generator.
6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
