Removal and Installation
CAUTION: While repairing the power steering system, care should be taken to prevent the entry of contaminants or premature failure of the power
steering components can result.
1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
2. Release the 2 clamps and disconnect the steering gear-to-cooler and the cooler-to-reservoir hoses. Allow the fluid to drain into a suitable container.
3. Remove the 2 bolts and the power steering fluid cooler.
4. To install, reverse the removal procedure. Fill the power steering system.
