Condenser HVAC: Description and Operation
The A/C condenser core is attached to the radiator support in front of the radiator with two mounting brackets at the top and bottom of the A/C
condenser core. The top mounting brackets attach to the rear side of the radiator support and the lower brackets attach to the front side of the radiator
support.
The A/C condenser core is located in front of radiator. The A/C condenser core receives compressed (therefore heated) refrigerant gas from the A/C
compressor.
As the hot refrigerant gas flows through the A/C condenser core, it is cooled by air passing over the fins. The cooled, compressed refrigerant gas
condenses to liquid refrigerant that flows directly to the A/C evaporator core through the A/C evaporator core orifice in the inlet.
