2. Heat the extension housing in the area of the countershaft rear bearing outer race to 160° C (320° F) with Rotunda Heat Gun 107-R0300 or
equivalent. With Driver Handle T80T-4000-W and Bearing Cup Replacer T73T-4222-A, drive the countershaft bearing cup into its bore until it
seats against its stop.
3. Heat the extension housing in the area of the mainshaft outer race to 160° C (320° F) with Rotunda Heat Gun 107-R0300 or equivalent. Using
Driver Handle T80T-4000-W and Mainshaft Front Bearing Cup Replacer T87T-J025-PH, drive the bearing cup into its bore until it seats against
its stop.
NOTE: Do not install the oil seal at this time. The oil seal is installed just prior to installing the output flange.
