Material
Removal and Installation
1. Drain the engine cooling system.
2. Remove the air cleaner outlet pipe.
3. Remove the 2 bolts, the thermostat housing, and the thermostat. Discard the O-ring seal.

Inspect the mating surfaces. Clean the sealing surfaces with metal surface prep.

Install a new O-ring seal. Lubricate the O-ring seal with clean engine coolant prior to installation.

To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.).
