Seat Belt Retractor: Service and Repair
Front Safety Belt Retractor - Without Seat Integrated Restraints (SIR)

FRONT SAFETY BELT RETRACTOR - WITHOUT SEAT INTEGRATED RESTRAINTS (SIR)

Torx Bit, Safety Belt Bolt

Special Tool(s)

Removal

NOTE:  Driver side shown, passenger side similar.

Regular cab vehicles

1. Using the special tool, remove the bolt. Remove the safety belt anchor.

2. NOTE:  Inspect the shoulder safety belt guide cover for damage. If the shoulder safety belt guide cover is damaged or the cover does not remain

closed, install a new shoulder safety belt guide cover.

Remove the driver side shoulder safety belt guide.

Open the cover.

Remove the nut.

Remove the shoulder safety belt guide.

3. Remove the driver side door scuff plate and rear corner trim panel.
