Removal and Installation
CAUTION: While repairing the power steering system, care should be taken to prevent the entry of contaminants or premature failure of the power
steering components can result.
NOTE: New Teflon seals must be installed any time the power steering line fittings are disconnected.
1. Remove the power steering pump pulley.
2. Disconnect the return hose.

Release the clamp.
3. NOTE: Thoroughly clean all debris from the pressure line-to-pump threads before installing the fitting.
NOTE: To prevent fluid leakage be sure to insert the pressure line into the quick connect before positioning the pressure line bracket and
tightening the lower power steering pump bolt.
