Valve Cover: Service and Repair
Right Side
Removal
1. Disconnect both battery ground cables.
2. Remove the charge air cooler inlet tube.
3. Remove the oil level indicator tube.
1. Remove the nut.
2. Pull upward and remove the tube.
4. Disconnect the fuel injector/glow plug jumper nine pin electrical connector.
1. Disconnect the retaining clip.
2. Disconnect the nine pin connector.
5. Remove the valve cover.
1. Remove the ten bolts.
2. Remove the valve cover.
