This TSB article supersedes and cancels TSB article 84-11-17 dated May 22, 1984. This re-issue corrects replacement stud usage and modifies Figure 20
and 22.
Dual rear wheel vehicles made after January 1, 1984 are equipped with new wheels (front/rear) which are center-piloted to new hubs and are attached
with new integral two-piece, swiveling lug nuts. The new lug nut torque specification is 140 ft.lbs. +/- 15 ft.lbs. (righthand threads are used at all four
wheel locations.) Figure 20, View A details the new system. The new and old design mounting systems ARE NOT COMPATIBLE.
