ISSUE
High brake pedal efforts or increased front
brake lining wear may be caused by the height sensing proportioning valve. Front brake sensitivity on extended wheel base trucks may also
be encountered.
ACTION:
Inspect the truck to determine if standard suspension or modified suspension is present. Also see if the height sensing proportioning valve
and linkage are present, Figure 1. Use one of the following methods to correct the condition:

TOOL IS REQUIRED TO PERFORM STEP 6 OF PROCEDURE "C".
