6. Inspect the disc brake caliper for leaks.

If leaks are found a new caliper must be installed.
7. Inspect the disc brake anchor plate assembly.

Check the guide pin boots for damage.

Check the guide pins for binding and damage.

Replace worn or damaged pins. Lube pins with Silicone Brake Caliper Grease and Dielectric Compound.
Installation
CAUTION: Protect the piston and boots when pushing the caliper piston into the caliper piston bores.
A. Press the caliper pistons to the bottoms of the caliper bores.
1. NOTE: Make sure to correctly locate the retraction clip.
Install the brake pads and retraction clips.
