PINPOINT TEST F: THE ENGINE WARMING PLEASE WAIT XX OR ENGINE WARM OK TO DRIVE DISPLAY IS
INOPERATIVE/ALWAYS ON (LATE BUILD ONLY)
Normal Operation
The ENGINE WARMING PLEASE WAIT XX display informs the driver that the engine temperature is too cold to drive the vehicle. The ENGINE
WARM OK TO DRIVE display informs the driver that the engine has warmed up sufficiently to safely drive the vehicle. The ENGINE WARMING
PLEASE WAIT XX display is a countdown from 30 seconds. Once the countdown has reached 0 seconds, the message center displays the ENGINE
WARM OK TO DRIVE message. If the engine stalls, the message center displays ENGINE WARMING PLEASE WAIT 01 until the engine is
restarted. Once the engine is restarted, the countdown begins at 30 seconds again.
NOTE: The message center scrolls through all current messages and warnings. The ENGINE WARMING PLEASE WAIT XX or ENGINE WARM
OK TO DRIVE message, if commanded on, displays in order along with any other warnings or messages that are also being displayed.
