4. Install the press-in-place gasket.

Install the dowels and the gasket.
5. NOTE: Early build engines will have 4 rocker arm carrier to cylinder head bolts. Late build will have 2 rocker arm carrier to cylinder head bolts.
NOTE: Early build shown, late build similar.
Install the rocker arm carrier and the bolts.

Early build vehicles (M8 bolt) Tighten to 31 Nm (23 lb-ft).

Late build vehicles (M10 bolt) Tighten to 62 Nm (46 lb-ft).
6. Install the lifting bracket on the cylinder head.
7. Install the cylinder heads.
