Disassembly
NOTE: The Kent-Moore tools listed below are used in this procedure. The tools are available from Kent-Moore Tool Division, 29784 Little Mack,
Roseville, MI 48066. The Complete Tool Kit (J37612) does not include Bearing and Seal Tool (J37071) or the Universal Tool Handle (J8092).
Bearing and Seal Tool J37071.
1. CAUTION: Do not clamp against the body of the housing as this can damage the housing and cause difficulties during the disassembly and
assembly procedures. If mounting boss or flange is not accessible, fabricate and attach a mounting plate to the housing mounting bosses.
NOTE: Replace all of the seals, the seal rings and the gaskets every time the gear is disassembled.
