Align the armature with the flat and pin groove on the rotor shaft and, with the stamped (counterclockwise arrow) side out, push it onto the rotor
shaft. If necessary, use a suitably sized socket and hand pressure to seat the armature.
4.
Install the dust cover, rotor, and distributor cap.
5.
Connect the battery negative cable.
