Remove the steering column upper shroud. | | | -
Remove the multi-function switch. - Disconnect the multi-function switch electrical connectors.
- Remove the retaining screw.
- Remove the switch.

Lever the instrument cluster bezel retaining screw cover off. | | | -
Remove the bezel (steering wheel shown removed for clarity). | Vehicles built up to 01/1999 | | -
Lever the speedometer cable grommet from the bulkhead. | All vehicles | | -
Remove the instrument cluster. | Vehicles built up to 01/1999 | | -
Disconnect the speedometer cable from the speed sender unit. | | | -
Disconnect the speedometer cable. - Pull/ease the instrument cluster forward.
- Disconnect the speedometer cable.

CAUTION:Do not place the instrument cluster, lens down. Disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the instrument cluster. | Installation | | -
To install, reverse the removal procedure. | |
