Removal and Installation

Removal

Vehicles built 9/1999 onwards
  1. Remove the radiator grille.
    • Detach the clips.
All Vehicles
  1. Raise the vehicle. For additional information, refer to Section  100-02 Jacking and Lifting.
  1. CAUTION:
    CAUTION:When disconnecting electrical connectors do not pull on the wiring; pull on the electrical connector body.
    Disconnect the fog lamp electrical connectors (if equipped).

  1. Remove the left-hand side bumper nut.

  1. Remove the right-hand side bumper nut.
  1. Lower the vehicle.

  1. Detach the wheelhouse liners, right-hand side shown, left-hand side similar.
    • Remove the clip.

  1. Remove the bumper side mounting screw, right-hand side shown, left-hand similar.
  1. Remove the bumper.

Installation
  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Make sure that the radiator grille lower clips are correctly located in the headlamp.
    To install, reverse the removal procedure.
